Even though my plans went south I had a wonderful vacation in Arizona... Ugh Arizona... I hate the traffic and hate the drive to Phoenix it's boring and something ALWAYS goes wrong! This time it wasn't me though... Joni and the boys were leaving St. George to come pick me up. You see, we were going to all ride together, more like I was sneekin in on their trip so I could go see the new baby, and all the sudden they blow a tire right before entering the gorge. Luckily, know one was hurt, but due to the cost they weren't going to Arizona any more. So I convinced John to let me drive myself there. He was hesitant at first, but I know how to push his buttons just right, I begged.... hahahahaha! and I'm so glad I got to go! I got to meet Tiny! Miss Paylie Lynn Carroll. She is such a sweetheart and so so so small! Plus, we did some shopping, of course and I got the cutest wallet and glasses case EVER!
We also went to a SUPER fancy restaurant! and I mean Fancy! I only got an appetizer and a side dish and it was 40+...... It really is a funny story! Chris only wanted to eat at a local Restaurant So we found this place and I called to ask the price, well I must have miss interpreted them because it was way more expensive then what I understood. The place was so fancy I got a real coconut when I ordered Coconut shrimp! It's a place John would have really liked! I wish he could have been there with me! Well after we left we went to some sort of festival! It was amazing! There were these giant hot air balloons everywhere! They were breathtaking! and ginormous!! There was an awesome SPIDER MAN balloon that I took pictures of and had to send to Austin!
I love this picture of me and Jenn at the festival! It really was a super fun night! I'm so glad Chris convinced me and Jenn it was something we wouldn't want to miss! The long drive across town was completely worth it! I've never seen anything like it ever before! and all the Christmas lights were still up! What a great way to bring the holidays to a close! It was the last night of the festival! On Sunday Chris and Jenn spoke in Sacrament meeting! That was a icing on top of the cake! I got to meet Paylie and here her mommy and daddy speak in church! They both did a splendid Job! I assisted Jenn with her talk! After church I got to snuggle with Paylie and we watched the new Batman Movie. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I did like it better the second time! Lastly, to bring the trip to a close on Monday Jenn colored my hair for me and I got us Chick-Fila for lunch! Mostly so I could rub it in John's face that I ate at his favorite place! Oh and while I was there I took some pictures of Paylie as well! It was my first time ever taking tiny baby pictures, if I do say so myself, some of them turned out really good!
