Its Christmas time in the City...

One of my favorite things about christmas is seeing all the lights displayed at the temple! My favorite is Time Square in Salt Lake... The lights are magnificent! But, St. George is my favorite temple so it comes in a close second this time of year! John picked me up for our date and we went and looked at the lights! It as super cold! That's why I'm all bundled up! He thought I looked SUPER cute in my white jacket! Hahaha! The black & white photo happens to be one of my all time favorites of us! 

Our first thanksgiving..

I was very nervous for this first thanksgiving... It was my first thanksgiving away from home and John is only my boyfriend! Having thanksgiving with the boyfriend and his family! CRAZY... we talked about it a lot and I decided to eat thanksgiving with his family because we know we want to get married were just not exactly sure when yet.. well I'm waiting for John to pop the question! So, I had thanksgiving with the De Young's this year so next year when we are married, hopefully (crossing my fingers), we can be on the same every-other-year schedule that the rest of my moms family is on! This year everyone is off and next year everyone will be together! Well, I had nothing to be nervous about Thanksgiving was great! I can't wait to be an Aunt! I love all of John's nieces and nephews and I love how much he loves them! I also got to meet John's grandma Smith for the first time! She is a very classy and beautiful women! She is very friendly and talks all the time! Now I know where John's mom get's it from, all the De Young women are very sociable! Mindy did a great Job on cooking the turkey! Everything turned out delicious! After dinner, John and I took a nap to get ready for Black Friday! This is my first black friday NOT being a shopper. John is an expert at black friday now.. but I'm anxious to see what it's going to like working on black friday and not shopping! 

Harry Potter Part 1... It's coming to an end, but other things are just beginning!!

Taylor finally came for her visit! she met John.. she even spent time with him alone.. Eeek! I had her spend time with him while I was at class. Good news is she approves! Yay!! Also, we met a whole bunch of friends and my family at the Harry Potter mid night movie premier Part 1! We had a late night snack at Del Taco and enjoyed the movie! I love my BFFLAE! Every time she comes to visit we have a blast!

It's a night for twilight!

Lucky me, my boyfriend doesn't mind snuggling and watching chick flicks with me! We were getting ready to start New Moon, the movie, when Taylor called me. She insisted on talking to John on the phone. She is so excited to come and visit me in St. George and meet John! She says she has to approve of my boyfriend!
