My first Christmas Present to John De Young

My friend Rissa took some pictures of me and I take plenty of pictures of myself so for Christmas I decided I would print the many faces of Alicia off and give it to John in a photo album! That way he could see me even when I'm not around! I thought I was pretty clever and he loved the gift! He keeps it right above his bed! The Ring...

I just can't stop starring at it! It's so weird having it on my finger, but I absolutely love it! and I love showing it off! All day long today it was, "let me see that ring..." and then every time someone looked at it... they were amazed! It is a very stunning ring! It's my DREAM ring! and he actually got it! It's my dream to go to Paris someday... I have this secret obsession with the Eiffel Tower... and if you look at my ring from the side it's the base of the Eiffel Tower. I think that's one of the reasons I LOVE it so much! Every time I look at it I remember the promise John made me... He told me one night... I promise I will take you to see the real Eiffel Tower one day! I can't wait for that day to come! I love John so much and I am elated I can now call him my fiancé! No more boyfriend... It's fiancé! my future husband! Awwww it sounds so serial... I'm getting married! and we already picked a date! I will be Mrs. Alicia De Young on March 12 of next year!

I'm Engaged!

I'm engaged, I'm engaged, I'm engaged! Time has flown by so fast!! It feels like just the other day I was calling John my boyfriend and now I can call him my fiancé! I'm kind of sad that I don't have the best pictures from that night because it was so late I didn't have my camera and John's is so old and doesn't work that good.... so.... I had him take pictures with his and they turned out almost all blurry... However, life goes on and I am at a loss for words....
