Bike Rides

Ever since NaeNae got his bike an evening stroll around the block is becoming a ritual! he loves to ride his bike!

March Lovin

We're loving when Daddy comes home to visit and can't believe we only have one month left! Naethanel loves to read and I took him to the library to pick out some books. Of course he couldn't wait to show daddy the superhero book he picked out! he calls it "america"!

I felt so loved when John surprised me by sending a dozen long stemmed red roses to the preschool for our 4 year anniversary! I'm not going to lie, I was having a very hard week, emotionally, I called my mom needing a break from the 24 hour mommy and Naethanael show... She willingly and without thinking about it for a second agreed to take Naethanael for a couple days. He was so excited when grandpa picked him up early from school and took him to get donuts before taking him home to Logandale for a couple days! One of my free nights Maren colored my hair and we ate ice cream!  Plus the day after our anniversary Megan and I surprised my mom with an early birthday present the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and the Rascal Flatts concert at the Hard Rock Hotel! it was a much needed mommy daughter date!

One weekend in March I got to go see Newsies with Megan, my dad, Nana and Aunt Judy! it was amazing! I love hearing men sing! and this performance was fantastic!!!! the chorus was phenomenal!! probably one of my favorite productions I've seen at the Smith Center, I'm sure going to miss seeing musicals on a regular basis, thanks to my loving parents! and thanks to my wonderful friend Erin for watching my baby boy so I could go to the show.

This boy has found a new love for stickers! he loves sticking them everywhere including on himself! on our way home from target he kept saying, "look, look mommy!" he had put the stickers all over his face while chuckling and grinning from ear to ear! than he said, "look, look mommy" and he had put them in his hair! such a silly stud muffin!

Ward Easter Egg Hunt and Nana's Eater Party

Naethanael and I enjoyed our Ward Family Easter breakfast and egg hunt! Naethanael liked picking up eggs but he wanted to open them every time he picked one up so he only ended up getting 4 eggs because all the other kids snatched them up while he was so focused on opening each egg! he didn't seem to mind, but when we got home John said, "Buddy, what happened? you only got 4 eggs" we both chuckled! He was simply proud of the 4 eggs he got!

After the breakfast we picked up John and we drove to Logandale for Nana's final Easter Party, or in her words the last Bunny Hop... It's sad to think each time we drive to Logandale it's closer and closer to the last time... and I'm really sad this is our last Easter Party. I cherish the memories I have of hiding envelopes, devouring deviled eggs, and opening eggs full of money! I've truly been spoiled with love! When John came to his first Easter Party he thought it was the coolest tradition EVER! he said it was by far his favorite family gathering! and this year was no less! I'm so glad Naethanael had so much fun with his aunts/uncles and cousins; we're so very blessed! We love you Nana!

Aunt Coo Coo Happenings!

We're so excited for Megan and all the exciting things going on for her in her life right now! She's graduating from UVU with her BSW and I was able to take her pictures for her graduation announcement. She also recently turned in her mission papers and received her call to serve in Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission! in naethanael's words "yay COO COO!" so happy we could celebrate this time in your life with you!

We drove to Logandale to be with Megan when she opened her call!

Bubble Run

Besides the horrid stroller situation (pushing small wheel strollers through gravel equals exhaustion!), rant over, we had so much fun at the bubble run with Krissy, Grammy, Alex and Andrew! My friend posted this 5k on facebook and I saw it and thought we have to try this it will be so much fun! and it really was! When we went through the first bubble tunnel Naethanael and Alex got completely covered/hidden we had to dig them out of the foam so we learned form the first tunnel and we went to the side on the other colors afterwards we went and got in-n-out, because that makes complete sense after burning all those calories! naethanael loves uncle alex soooooo much, they're best friends!
