It's that time of year again... Annual Beach Trip 2012

We were sneaky this year and caught a ride with my dad to California, what can we say, we're full time college students! So we jumped in the excursion and rode with my dad and the youngsters to Carlsbad. I cannot tell you how many times we stopped... hahaha it took way to long to get there! Plus, I was sick ... I feel like every time we have planned a vacation this past year I get sick! I had thrown up twice that morning... John was so sweet though! He took care of me, finished all the packing, ran some errands, bought our new sleeping bag, and helped my dad by all the food at Sam's Club! We only left an hour behind schedule... I think that's pretty good! We arrived really late set up camp in the dark and woke up early the next day to drive down to San Diego! I was running a little behind cause I took a shower that morning... I felt gross from being sick, so I had to go buy coins and get ready super fast. I finished my make-up in the car! Of course, I had to get all cute for Sea World!

When we got their we had to get everybody out of the car and pick our buddies. My buddy was JoJo and John's buddy was Sabrina...? I think, but a lot of the times he had Andrew... Then we had to wait in line to get inside the park! We found a cool Shamu Car or should I say Shampoo, according to Andrew in the front of the parking lot!

And we're finally in!

I think John looks just a little bit excited??!!! It was John's first trip to Sea World and I had to document it with loads of pictures. I think he was sick of the camera by the end of the day! We had such a great time seeing all the shows, marine animals, and drink delicious lemonade slushy's in our AWESOME cup that cost us $8.99!!! Ouch, but it came with free refills (but, of course all of the refill lines were outrageously long!)... We got to touch the starfish, some of us got to feed the bat rays (I myself choose not to do this...), and we got to ride the fun new roller coaster, which was AWESOME! We even got Brina and Austin to go on it... more then once I might add! That's a BIG deal! The park was decorated in lots of fun Halloween stuff! It's called "Sea World's Halloween Spectacular"! I loved seeing John's facial expressions throughout the day... he was just like Andrew... He lit up every time he saw something new! and of course his favorite place... how did he word it, "Finally made it to my TRUE home with the penguins at Sea World!!"

The very first thing we did was go see the Killer Whales. John and Austin couldn't believe the whales were real?? It was so fun watching them... Austin kept asking? Are you sure there real??... Andrew thought it was the coolest thing ever! All the kids were JAWS DROPPED starring into the training tank.

Second, we went and touched the starfish... After the Sea World employee specifically said, "you can touch the starfish and pick them up, but do not take them out of the water..." Andrew grabbed one, took it straight out of the water and yelled look mom!" We all went after him as soon as we could so he wouldn't kill the poor starfish... he was constantly supervised after that!

The Nanny Diaries :)

Yep, I do what I want! That includes taking off my bib and climbing out of my highchair and standing on top of the tray! We all learned that the hard way! But, he is just too cute to get upset with!

So one day I asked JoJo to lay out a blanket for Alex to roll around on and play with his toys. Well, JoJo got a blanket, more like the biggest quilt in the entire house, and she laid it out completely. I had to take a picture and send it to my mom. Alex looked so tiny and I just thought it was so cute and funny! JoJo is a great big sister!
I love Uncle Austin! He always plays with me and gives me treats!

I helped Andrew make this for his school project! Andrew loves going to school and I love seeing him get so excited every morning when he sees the bus and every afternoon when he sees me when he gets home!

I picked this cute outfit out for Nathan! He is such a sweet boy! I am madly in love with him and will miss him so much! The love he has for life and the love he has to give is endless! I love his smiles and his laugh, I love when he waves bye bye and gives me big tight squeezes and sloppy kisses! I love how he loves the little things! Seeing life through the eyes of a child is priceless!

Alex is the world's greatest baby brother! He is an angel! holding him is like holding heaven! I loved spending my days with him! I would hold him all day and all night if I could!

Just watching toy story while my sister folds laundry. Strapping him in his high chair is the only way I could get all the laundry finished, otherwise he just helped me UNFOLD everything!

Having Alex in my life truly is a blessing! He is such an example to me even though I am twenty years older then him! We are two best friends and I only hope to be the best big sister he could ever ask for...
I took these two pictures on my last day nannying! It was a bitter sweet day! I love my family and I'm sad I won't get to see them four times a week anymore!

Sometimes I would get way to bored on my car rides to Logandale and back, but other times I loved jamming to my music, singing at the top of my lungs, and  talking on the phone and catching up with friends and my sister. Also, I liked using the time to think, ponder, and relax!
