Day 3, California Adventures, Toon Town, Rainforest Cafe, Fantasy Land, the scare, the parade, and World of Color

Of course the very first thing we did today was get tickets for World of Color and rode Toy Story Mania... and of course John won!! But, it was a lot of fun and I had better accuracy! I don't think we've actually ever rode this ride together. Then we rode Screamin, the Merry-go-round, and then Screamin again! Then we tried to ride little mermaid, but it was closed... I was so sad. Thank goodness it opened later that day and we got to ride it! I was so happy we checked again! It really is one of my favorites! We also joined Phineas and Ferb at the dance block party! That was a lot of fun! We then walked through Carsland, we had to see it! We've heard so much about it! It really felt like we were walking down Route 66! I loved every minute of it even though we didn't ride anything.... all the rides had over an hour wait so we decided we would come back on our last day! We also met Donald Duck on the Pier, boy was he looking festive! He was so cute with John! Then we met Minnie Mouse! She loved my ears! We rode Monsters Inc. and met a family visiting from Canada for the very first time! They were asking us all about our pin collections! It was fun to talk to them and see how happy and excited they were to be at Disneyland! Before we went to lunch we rode Tower of Terror and watched the production of Aladdin! As always genie was hilarious!

We went to lunch at Rain-forest Cafe! I was so excited to take John to lunch here. He has never been to a Rain-forest Cafe before. We were there during a Rainstorm and we sat next to the Elephants in the corner! They looked so real! So much of this Vacation has been firsts for him! I love seeing the light in his eyes as he experiences something new! It makes me love him that much more! I love every adventure I get to take with him! This Vacation has been unforgettable and lunch was delicious! We even got our appetizer for free, we got a voucher from our hotel. After lunch we rode the Dinseyland Monorail back to the park and headed for Toontown... from the pictures you can see we had a blast! and John got to meet Mickey Mouse and Goofy!! Plus, we got stuck in Jail, ok!, we choose to go to jail hahahaha! But, John did hit the gym and then drove right into Goofy's mailbox!

We then went to meet Rapunzel! I was sooooooo excited! I'm obsessed with the new Tangled movie! She is my favorite new princess! Of course, from the classics Cinderella is still my favorite! Well, while waiting in line that's when we got the bad news... it was the scariest moment of my  life... It was so emotionally draining, and it took a lot of courage. Becca had been watching Izzy while we were out of town and she couldn't get ahold of me. I didn't bring my phone to the park. I left it in the hotel and we only brought John's phone with us and she didn't have Johns number. We saw she messaged us on facebook so I sent her John's number and then she called us. Apparently Izzy had a seizure at least that's what her and Leighonna thought it was so they rushed her to the vet where they take there animals. Everything else after that seems like a blur. I met Rapunzel, and we rode some of the rides in Fantasy Land while we were waiting for the phone to ring. The vet was running blood work on Izzy to check if everything was ok. It was so hard to just sit there and wait. We tried to keep having fun, but it was constantly on our mind. Finally, we got the results. Her liver count was high. A 209 and that's not normal. The vet just kept saying, she looks awful, she's not good mom, she doesn't look like a healthy puppy mom, she was making it sound like Izzy was going to die that night. So I finally called are vet bawling and Dr. Jason, Izzy's regular doctor calmed us down. He said, she isn't going to die tonight, have your friend take her home and bring her into our office tomorrow and we will observe her all day. That was the plan after 2 hours of trying to figure stuff out when we were so far away we both felt at peace with our decision. Becca agreed she would take her home and then we would find someone to take her to our vet in the morning. We were getting ready to ride Nemo. Like one person away in line and the phone rang again. I answered the phone and I got the worst feeling in my stomach ever, and my heart broke. I lost it... more then I already had, apparently Izzy's blood hadn't clotted from the blood work they had done in the very beginning and that's not normal so the vet told Becca if she took her home she would just have to hold a cloth against her neck all night..... I didn't know what to do or what to say..... I called my mom. I was terrified. We had to make a decision. I was mostly so upset because they hadn't said anything about that earlier. You think that would be important?? Finally, John went to the bathroom came out closed his eyes and said just do it. We decided she would stay there and be hospitalized and have more tests done. That's what we didn't want to have to do because it was going to be so expensive, but we didn't know what else to do.Those couple hours and the rest of that night and the whole next day, where we ended up leaving our trip early... were the hardest and longest day I had ever had. I was so worried I would never see Izzy agian. She is my baby and my BEST friend. I never even noticed how much I loved her and relied on her until something was wrong. Isn't that how life is though?? we don't realize how much we will miss until were faced with it... all I wanted to do was make it home and hold her again. All I wanted was to be able to take her home with me! I don't think I have ever cried as much as I cried in the hotel that night. John was so strong even though I know inside he was just as scared and worried as well. We did end the day at the park on a happy note though, we watched the parade and of course that made us smile! It was so magical, Disneyland is such a happy place! and we still tried to have fun on our vacation. We even rode finding Nemo after the parade was over, and somewhere in between leaving the parade and getting to Nemo I lost my Minnie Mouse ears. I've had them since I was 16! It was a little sad, but at the same time it gave me an excuse to buy some new sparkly ones!! We then went to California Adventures to watch the world of color! It takes my breath away every time I see it!  It's amazing and BEAUTIFUL! Then we headed back to the hotel tired, exhausted, and emotionally drained selves back to the hotel and talked a lot about Izzy and John gave me a blessing of comfort.

P.S. During World of Color we were so Hungry I searched for Pretzels for us to eat! John had a Salted Pretzel with Cheese and I had a delicious Cream Cheese filled pretzel!
