Women's Conference 2014

I had a wonderful getaway with my mom, sister, and aunt at Women's Conference while John held down the fort at home! What a great daddy! I loved all the classes I went to and I enjoyed making cards for a service project. I especially loved the conferences opening speaker Sheri Dew! 

"Our theme is filled with hope and power: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: The Lord will 

give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” The Savior has “all power” in heaven and on earth.11 He has power to cleanse, forgive, and 

redeem us; power to heal us of weakness, illness, and heartache; power to inspire us; power to 

conquer Satan and overcome the flesh; power to work miracles; power to deliver us from 

circumstances we can’t escape ourselves; power over death; and power to strengthen us. When 

the Apostle Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,”12 he was

My mom always says Provo has a special place in her heart it's where her and my dad lived the first year they were married! Where they spent time as newlyweds falling even more in love so I told her I was gonna take her picture and I just love how she looks so in LOVE! One of my favorite parts about Women's Conference every year is seeing all the Women  gathered together as sisters in Zion! The spirit is so strong it radiates through all the friendly smiles, glowing eyes, loving hearts, and the testimonies shared. 

Syd Reunion!

 Sydney surprised me by coming to VEGAS!!!! she was staying with her parents on the way to CALI on vacation at a nice hotel on the strip and Naethanael and I got to go play with her and I got a girls night out! The pool/hot tub on the roof was amazing! the view! Man VEGAS the lights are stunning, sometimes I take it for granted because I pass by it so often. So the first night I saw her she met Naethanael for the first time and took him swimming! He loved looking out the window at the hotel it was so cute! The second night John babysat and Syd and I went out to dinner at the Sugar Factory! My first visit! and we spent the evening talking endlessly in the hot tub! I just love her, sometimes I wish I could turn the clock back and relive in Cedar City, Utah. I made the best of friends who will ALWAYS have a very special place in my life!

In the famous words of Dr. Seuss,

Springtime, FUN time!

We've been soaking up the sun, we can't spend enough time outside! Naethanael loves playing in our little yard. 

The Easter bunny payed us a visit, for Naethanael's first Easter he found some goodies hiding in our backyard and we colored eggs with Maren and Sean. He loved his bunny! this boy loves stuff animals to pieces.

Naethanael knows how to do knuckles and it is soooooo ADORABLE we probably have him do it at least 20 times a day it's just so cute and his sound effect, seriously! how can he be any cuter?? I also tired a new dessert in the crockpot, it didn't turn out as good as i thought it was really messy to scoop up, but it tasted delicious, warm gooey chocolate with Ice Cream!

Easter Party with NANA

It's definitely a family favorite we look forward to every year! My NANA is the bestest NANA ever!! I love her so much I love her stories I LOVE her elegance I LOVE her sense of humor I LOVE the way she keeps old traditions alive I LOVE her sweet sweet SPIRIT I LOVE her SPUNK! I admire her card writing and how she ALWAYS makes you feel soooooooo special! and WE ALL LOVE her Easter Party! thank you for all you do to makes this such a wonderful CELEBRATION! 

NaeNae first Easter Party daddy helped him find all his eggs while mommy kept snapping pictures! he loved looking for eggs, once he found one he wanted to open it and we had to convince him we needed to keep finding more! 

Floyd Lamb Park and 4-Wheeling

We had a fun and busy Saturday! we started out at Floyd Lamb park, we got an invite in the mail to attend a foster child Spring/Easter party in the park. We ate gelato, signed up for winderfarms, Naethanael got to see a firetruck up close and sit in it with John, and he went inside his first jump house, more like we pushed him inside the jump house and he starred at us and didn't move a muscle.

After we left the park we drove to Logandale and took a 4-wheeler ride with some of my little brothers and sisters out to the sand dunes! it was Naethanael's first time on a 4-wheeler! he had a lot of fun riding with daddy! and playing in the sand with Uncle Alex!

Learning and Growing

Naethanael loves going to school with mommy! he is a grasshopper! his teacher Ms. Teisha is wonderful with him. They grew these adorable plants that have been hanging in the window at school and today he got to take it home! we loved the UNLV/CSUN preschool!
