We really had a great Spring Break! I'm so anxious to graduate in December if you can't tell! This is my last Spring Break ever!!!! Well at least for now! I'm still contemplating whether or not I will get my masters one day. We started the break off with the Easter Party in Logandale on Sunday and then we headed on to St. George! It seriously felt like we had never left because we were just there to meet miss Sophie Mae! Oh how we love our newest little niece! She is truly a blessing! Such a JOY in our lives! Also, while we were there I got to to have breakfast with my Grandma J! I cherish the moments I get to spend with her! We've always had a good relationship, but ever since I lived with her the year before I married John our relationship changed, it strengthened, she is a great example to me of service and selflessness! She gives so much to others, especially her family and the church! We had a wonderful time at Cracker Barrel catching up! She was so cute, she left her glasses at home, so I had to read her the entire menu before she decided what she wanted!
After Brunch with Grandma J, I went shopping with John's mom! We had a great time together! I love it when I get to spend time with her because she always talks about John constantly! She tells me hundreds of stories from his childhood and I LOVE it! She was so sweet too! She bout me some stuff for our house at Ross! After we were done shopping we were still waiting to hear from the guys, they went shooting. John was so excited to have a day off from school and work to spend time with his dad! I know he truly cherishes every second of every minute he gets to spend with him! I love how close they are! There shooting trip went extra long, but I didn't worry about it because I knew it was more time they got to spend together! So Jacquie called Shelley and left a message saying, Shelley it's mom Alicia wants to come play with Sophie! It was so Cute! Even though Shelley didn't answer we took our chances and went to there house anyways! Luckily for me they were home and I got to see my 3 BEAUTIFUL nieces and my AWESOME SPUNKY nephew! The picture is kind of blurry and I look pretty awful, but Sophie was a vision in PINK! She looked absolutely adorable and I finally got to see her with her eyes open!
Somewhere inbetween these three shots Brecken made in EPIC hole in one! He hit the ball... another little girl walked back onto our course stood right in front of the hole looking in... John, Keaton and I went, umm what is that little girl doing... and the next thing we know Brecken's ball is coming around the bend hits the little girls flip flop bounces off her putter and into the hole!! It was amazing! John, Keaton, and I could not believe it!
I also managed to do something epic! I hit my ball it bounced over the gate and into the parking lot.... I guess I'm not as cool as Brecken, but John and Keaton definitely will never forget what I did! Brecken also took this cute picture of the three of us! Pretty good for a five year old! The Mini-golf course was full of so many people... John goes oh, it's Monday night! Family night! Ding Ding Ding! We still had a great time!
So Tuesday we didn't do much! If I remember right me and Izzy took a nap and I watched One Tree Hill! But Wednesday was SUPER fun! We went Hiking at Mountains Edge, tried Tropical Smoothie Cafe for the first time, John went to the office with me for my sessions, we went to Smash Burger for the first time, and we saw the Croods!! We had a great time! Lots of firsts on Wednesday!
When we got home Izzy was so excited to see us! We took her over to the park and let her run around! She was so tired that she came back in the house and crashed on the couch! It was so CUTE! We love our Baby Girl!
