We had a FANTASTIC Monday! Not too often do you hear those words come out of my mouth! Hahaha most of the time I HATE MONDAYS because it's the beginning of the work/school week again and I mean it follows Sunday and Sunday is ALWAYS great! So, when Monday follows Sunday it just never seems to be so great! But, this Monday was! Now that was kind of confusing....
I started the day off going to practicum! Which is going as expected, super fun, yet stressful, but, it's keeping me busy and I LOVE playing with the babies! I only wish I could cuddle them more! Mrs. Roxy wants them to be independent! She says to let them self sooth and hold their own bottle, interact with them and talk to them but don't hold them. It's just different that's all, but I'm getting more used to it! Well when that was over I went to the library for a bit too study and then I met up with John and we went to lunch at Red Robin off of Eastern so he could get his FREE, we LOVE anything that's FREE, birthday Burger! Yummmmmm! That's all I can say about Red Robin! Then we went and picked up delicious Krispy Kreme Donuts for later! YUMMMMMMMM again!! Love Krispy Kreme's and how every single bite just melts in your mouth!!
Well after Krispy Kremes we went and spent way too much money at Deseret Book, but we got some really neat, spiritual, inspirational, and cool stuff! I love that store and so does John! We could spend all day there! Plus, I got a new book! Can't wait to read it! Well, then we went home John and Izzy watched Big Bang Theory and took a nap while I went to class.... I came so close to starying home and snuggling with them, but I knew I needed to go to school! And lucky me... my professor wasn't feeling well so we got out way early!
Well when I got home we left for the Mall! Yeah we had a busy day! We got our Valentines card from my in-laws and it had a gift certificate for See's candy! I love this tradition! No matter what... or where we may be they always find a way to send us or give us chocolates for Valentines Day! So we got delicious samples and brought not only one box of Chocolate home, but TWO! Can we say dangerous way to many sweets in our household right now!!
Well, when we left the mall we raced up the street to meet a CUTE couple from our ward! I visiting teach Kylee and she is the sweetest sister! She is a newly wed! and we've been having some fun girls nights on Wednesday when both our hubbies are at scouts! Well earlier when we were at Deseret Book they invited us to go mini golfing and of course we said yes! I'm so HAPPY we are getting to know more people in our ward and starting to make friends! It finally feels like we are putting down some roots! The southwest area is truly begining to feel like home! We had such a great time! Of course John beat me, I'm a horrid golfer, but Kylee was awful too! We had a blast and I'm so glad they invited us! It was the perfect ending to a perfect Monday! We didn't do anything extravagant, life changing, or newsworthy, but it was all the little things that made it perfect! I truly enjoyed every minute of today, it was simple, it was memorable, it was precious!
