The Painting Crew!!

Not exactly the kind of painting crew you would expect, but we had a lot of fun! My younger siblings are the best they came and helped me paint! I had so much fun picking out the colors we were going to put in our brand new house! The entire house is painted like an oatmeal brown color so we just added some accent walls. I have always wanted a red wall in my kitchen and Ashley and Krissy Anne made it happen! I even made them do 2 coats and it turned out beautiful!! All the kids had a lot of fun painting and we went swimming for the first time in my neighborhood pool as well. However, about two hours into the painting process I began to think... what was I thinking?? It was a handful having young kids paint a brand new carpeted house, but it was worth it! We happened to get some colors in spots they weren't supposed to be, but I just touched it up later!

Me and Bubba! He pretty much painted my entire down stairs bathroom by himself. Brina gave up after one tiny section she said she was tired! But not Austin he loved painting!!

Brina tired from painting! Man, I wore these kids out! By the time we went back to my apartment they went right to bed!!
These two pictures are of JoJo and Krissy painting my craft room!!! I cannot wait until I get my craft/jewelry/scrapbook room all set up!!

I went over a couple nights before the kids came and I blue taped my based boards and everything else I didn't want the kids painting!! Haha I also layer down some plastic tarps too so they wouldn't paint my floors! When John got off work he bought little caesars pizza and we all ate pizza in our big, empty, painted house!

When my parents came to see our house and pick up the kids on sunday I made chicken alfrado for dinner! They came to our apartment and then we all drove over to the house together!! Nana came too!! Well when we were at the house my dad and John attempted to figure out why none of the lights in our fans weren't working! Well in order to do so they had to take the entire fan apart! It was quit the adventure. I remember John saying, "Fans are a lot heavier then they look!" and he was balancing on a really wobbly wooden ladder we found in the backyard. I snapped this picture of the two of them and Ashy decided to pose in the background; she was supposed to be holding the ladder steady so john wouldn't fall!!
