Today is my WONDERFUL, TALENTED, AMAZING, HANDSOME husbands birthday!!! I just wanted to wish him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love you honey! I hope you have the bestest 24th birthday ever!! I made him a delicious breakfast with HERSHEY chocolate milk ;) (I like Nesquick so we have this ongoing debate about it) and my parents are taking us out to lunch! Then we will be spending the end of his birthday in Colorado with the Cox Clan!! He couldn't wait to open his presents so he opened them last night! He was so so so so excited! That's my honey for ya! He got a BBQ set, a BBQ thermometer fork thingy, and a cute sign I made myself that says BBQ of your choice! He kept telling me he really wanted a BBQ so he could BBQ so I thought why not get it for his birthday! He is really excited to pick one out!!

Austin Pirate Cake...

Time to put the cake pans to some use!! I told my mom I wanted to make the kids birthday cakes, and she said okay!! So I had to try out making a checker board cake before I just did it for Austin's party!! So it turned out okay.... haha well lets just say I learned a lot!! And when I do it for real it will be AMAZING!! It is a fun hobby that I'm really excited to start doing!!

A first for everything!!

First time on a plane together, first time in Miami, first time on a cruise ship, first time in the Bahamas, first stamp in our passport, first time eating frog (yes we ate frog), first time in Jamaica, first time in a bobsled, first time zip lining, first time to Karaoke in public, and first time to get sniffed by a dog for drugs!

We had a delicious breakfast in bed before we headed out to the Bahamas! We had delicious food everything on the whole entire cruise! All you can eat food 24/7.... man I ate such a variety of food all week it was amazing!! Not only did it all look very delicious, but it looked like it could all be on the cover of a magazine it was so pretty!!

Inside our cabin it was very nice! We had a big window where we could see out into the ocean and a TV that they played different movies on, we watched a little bit of Thor, and Pirates 3.

Look at the color of the ocean and I swear i didn't photo shop it either!!! At first I was really excited to go kayaking! We went kayaking over the summer down the river in Moab so when we signed up I was like I can do this it won't be like the big rapids. Well then we were riding the boat to the end of paradise island and the tour guide was like, "Balance is key, don't tip over," and he was telling us about these posinous fish to avoid and coral that would make you itchy and I didn't even want to get in the kayak let alone snorkel in the ocean. But, I did it! My stomach was in knots for the first 10 minutes we were in it and I think I yelled at John a couple times because he was making the kayak go from side to side, but other then that it was great!! It was so cool to see everything underneath us! The water was so clear! I really wanted to see a fish like nemo.... but I didn't =( I did see a fish like dori though! It was neon blue! So pretty!! So when we were getting out of the kayak I told John I don't want to snorkel, but I know you do so I will watch you and take your picture. He was a little sad I wasn't going to do it, but he said okay. He got all his gear on and was getting ready to get in when the tour guide said, "You have to try, once in a life time, you in the Bahamas ya man? and I will take both your picture" As you can see he persuaded me. I swear I couldn't breathe first time I put my head under the water. I don't think I have ever been in the ocean that deep before. My heart was racing and John was having the best time of his life! His smile was so BIG!! He said see it's awesome! He was so cute though he took my hand and didn't let go the whole time! I do have to say I am so glad I did it!! Once in a lifetime is right!! To see all the fish in that clear of water was so BEAUTIFUL we saw schools of fish! I saw more blue fish and bright yellow! Those were my favorite. I was getting comfortable towards the end when the guy yelled five minutes left. John said, "It's okay we have a little more time," then he put his head back under... so I put my head back under.... and then I saw this giant fish..... I mean it was huge and the heart started pounding again and I came up from under the water and John said, "It's just a fish...." Let's just say I was done I told him I want to go back to the rope and get back in the boat.... He took his sweet time getting there but we went back in!!

It was so BEAUTIFUL in the Bahamas!! I just had to take pictures of myself! This is after we snorkeled and we were heading back to Nassau. I also got some great pictures of our cruise ship on our way back as well!! We were on the boat Carnival Destiny!

So of course we only planned on doing the one on shore excursion in the morning and buying one souvenir each and then heading back to the boat for lunch... until we saw all of the scooters for rent! We still went back to the boat changed and had lunch, but then we rented the scooter so we could go around the island and over to the Atlantis resort! I mean I made it all the way to the Bahamas I had to see Atlantis it is on my bucket list and when would I ever make it back there again??? That is a pretty good argument right... John couldn't say no... He wanted to drive the scooter too!! He was a great driver, I mean he even had to drive on the opposite side of the road and everything. The weirdest thing was having to turn and the traffic on the streets were insane! It was really fun to get to experience life on the island though... we even saw Mc Donalds and KFC! On the bike I am wearing my very cute "Bahama Mama Bag!!" That is what the lady at the stand told john. She needs this bag so she can be a Bahama Mama!!!

Kind of sad to say the Atlantis was nice, but it wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be. Not like the way they make it in the commercial at all..... It is actually kind of old looking and I don't know I was a little let down. They did have a really fancy mall on the inside and a BEAUTIFUL private beach don't get me wrong... I don't know what I was expecting though... Oh and I almost forgot what happened on our way there. So we were driving over the massive bridge that connects the two islands together. You see the Atlantis isn't on Nassau it is on Paradise island. The guy who rented us the scooter told us how to get there but he did not tell us that you had to pay one dollar as a toll when you got to the other side. Well us not being the smartest coconuts didn't have any money and the Lady on the bridge in the booth was not happy... you see it is a one way bridge and she wouldn't even let us in just to turn around and go back on the other bridge. She was getting more upset every second and ready to call the police I think so that is when I got off the scooter went to the car behind us and said sir, "We are on a cruise ship here and rented the scooter so we could come see the Atlantis and we have no money with us it is all on the ship, could I borrow a dollar??" I was scared about what his response would be... and he said, "No problem, you in Bahamas and he gave me a Dollar!!" Oh I was so greatful!!!! I felt relieved for a minute I thought we were going to prison or something.... I kid you not the lady was getting very, very angry I walked back over handed her the dollar and she was on the phone and then she hung up and let us in.

We had to leave our mark in the Bahamas!! I made John write our name in the sand and of course I could not leave without proof that my husband held my hand on the beach in the BAHAMAS and kissed me!! Awwwww how romantic!!!! right?? Well after our brief romantic moment we had trouble getting the scooter to start again. So even though the guy said you didn't need any gas with the kick start. John asked me to give it a little gas... Well I swear I only did it a little bit... and John got it to start.. and before I knew it the bike went flying into the curb right ahead of us. John freaked out at me and apologized later. I know we were both just worried we might have damaged it and he overreacted a little. But, all was well! No harm done and we hit the road again!!

Right when we were getting ready to leave I had to take a picture in this big... well I don't know exactly what it is, but I love the color orange!! And of course we had to go find out where we could get our passports stamped. I was so sad because I thought we weren't going to be able to get a stamp when John heard rumors that their was somewhere you could right by the ship dock. So we asked a couple people and...... We got our very first stamps!!!!!

Our New Car!!!

After looking for an entire semester we finally found a new car!!!! I absolutely love it! It's a 2010 Jeep Patriot, it is very roomy and very nice on the inside! It has a big back seat, which will be perfect for a family someday!!

Our First Christmas!!

We got our very first christmas tree at Target and we got our star at Hobby Lobby!! It was so fun decorating it and it was even more fun waking up on christmas morning and opening our presents!! On christmas eve we watched the polar express and drank hot coco!! We put cookies out for santa on our special plate and read the night before christmas!!

What's in your stalking honey??? John got socks and a really cool pocket knife! He also got gummy lifesavers and an itunes card!!

I got a blue tooth!! Yay i was so excited I've never had something like that before! I also got a Reese's candy cane, itunes card, and moccasins!!!

I was so sad when I opened the present that felt like a blue-ray disk and I was hoping that it was the Lion King I was sure it was Lion King I really wanted it, but it was the Notebook. I really like that movie too! I loved the label John put on my present it was so cute! John can be quite romantic when he wants to!! It said, "to my lady love your man!!"

Mr. Popper Penguins was a complete surprise!! Look at John's face it was priceless... I love how much he loves penguins!! My mom also got us a really cool sign that I put on top of our book shelf. She also got us a cute snowman ornament that says are first christmas I really love it!!!!! All I wanted for christmas was cake stuff! I wanted to start making cakes as a new hobby I've been really interested in it for a while!

We also picked out Nerf guns for each other so we can have a war in our apartment! I'm pretty excited for this!! John was like a little kid because he had the biggest present under the tree! After we opened all our presents we got ready and went to Logandale to see what the kids got and my dad made me potatoes so I could take them to my in-laws! I asked him for the recipe and he said he would just make them. After we saw the kids we went to John's parents and had dinner with Shelley and Ryan and the kids! It was a great Christmas!!

Christmas!!!!!! but, that's not what I'm thinking right now..... more like END OF SEMESTER!!! I love school, but this past little while has been super stressful! I don't know what I was thinking 16 credits, 30+ hours a week at target, trying to keep the house clean, and not to mention trying to keep up on laundry and there is only two of us!! I'm hanging in there though its almost over! We made it through Black Friday, and Thanksgiving at Grandpa Carters was wonderful! I wanted to list some things I am greatful for! Tis' the season...

My wonderful, amazing, hard-working, Husband! It is our first thanksgiving since we've been married!
My Job even though I dislike it at times...
My husbands Job... he works hard to support our family!
The roof over my head... I love having our own place to call home!
UNLV and the great Education we are both receiving
My parents and in-laws they are our biggest support!!
The country in which I live and all the troops who protect our country. On Veterans day John made sure we wrote Thank you veterans on the back of our car!
Trials they make us grow stronger
My calling... even though it is pushing me to my limits!! That's good though! I should be using the talents I have been given and what better way to do so then playing the piano in primary! I can do this!

Our car was a hit!! All because we passed out glow stick bracelets instead of CANDY!! The little kids loved it!! I love HALLOWEEN and now I have John falling in love with it too! I even made some of my own decorations this year!! When I have my own house someday it will be so SPOOKY and FUN!! I can't wait, but for now the trunk was a success!!

I was a witch and John was a Pirate..... Arrrrr!!!!!! I didn't want to spend a lot of money on costumes so we mad our own and bough a few accessories!

I wanted to take a picture on the beach but the sun was so bright I could barely keep my eyes opened so I decided to make a silly face! Haha I kind of look like a pirate! Arrrgh

Adorable Krissy Anne! I tried to convince her to booggie board with me, but she said the water was too cold! It was freezing!! I didn't last very long myself... but my dad even did it this year! Go daddy! Him and John outlasted everyone!... They caught some great waves!

I love the look on Andrews face in this picture!! He loved the sand!... and the ocean until dad took him boogie boarding! Haha he didn't like that idea too much! I think he is a little too little, but my dad wanted the kids to come boogie with him and no one was brave enough except Andrew! I think Austin did try it once a little later in the day and Ashy did it too! Megan and Brandon were bums this year though they barely got in the water... Teenagers!!!

I mean look how happy we are and we woke up at five in the morning!! Megan drove down Wednesday night from Provo and then the three of us left at six and arrived at Disneyland a half hour after it opened!

Riding space Mountain! It is creepy at Halloween time their are ghosts! I was screaming so loud and I had a cold so I lost my voice it was all scratchy! John and the kids were laughing at me!

On Donal Ducks boat! This was John's second time at Disneyland, but last time he didn't get to go to Toon Town because it was raining the entire time we were there. It was fun going to all the characters houses and looking at the Town!

So we missed Brecken's Super Hero birthday party so we wanted to make it up to him! We went to St. George to visit my in-laws the weekend before school started and took Brecken to see the smurfs! It was super funny!! I love how they said smurf for everything!! ha ha ha ha!

Brecken's favorite was Papa Smurf!! John of coursed loved the narrator! No surprise there.. haha!

Smurfette was my favorite! "You smurfed with the wrong girl!"

As Narrator said, "And I think they left it a little sweeter, a little wiser, a little smurfier. As that portal began to close for the last time..."

Also, that night we went to dinner with our good friends Jessica, Dustin, and there ADORABLE little girl Shanon!! I miss them all so much and I loved getting to see them for the night! We went to Red Lobster and Shanon loved the pasta! Afterwards we went to Nielson Frozen custard John has lived in St. George since he was 16 and he had never been there! I was shocked!!

Hoover Dam

John's first time seeing Hoover Dam and both our first time standing on the really high bridge and it was 115 degrees outside.... we were dying and I was scared! Every time a car drove by you could feel the ground shake!

John said something really funny in the context of the Dam and now I can't remember for the life of me what he said.... Ugh but he said it and then he said "I made a funny!" Me and Sydney were laughing at him! He is so cute!

Last Kicks For Summer!

School is just around the corner and all the kids came to stay at our apartment for a couple days! We had so much fun swimming, laser tag, M&M factory, and Coca Cola store! With a little place and a lot of people we had a lot of giggles and so much fun!!

The kids had so much fun playing laser tag even though the vests were as big as they were! Austin was so cute he would cut around the corners and hold up his gun making sure the coast was clear for me to follow! He was running around so fast trying to get people!

The kids listened so good to me and John and Megan when we were going down the strip!

We ate delicious food!! Our first stop was at Denny's!

Saw old friends and met new ones! Thomas, Barry Candice, and Devon!

Had a real night camping! And I mean real... we got to the campground after midnight so we couldn't set up camp. So we layed out a tarp and pulled out are sleeping bags and (didn't) sleep under the beautiful Moab stars. I say didn't sleep because almost everyone couldn't sleep all night long haha but we had a great time! I got this lovely picture of Megan brushing her teeth!

This was the beautiful Mountain right by our camp sight. We were right along the river where we launched the boats.

John and I after we took showers after the long day of rafting!! It was so much fun!! Lunch was delicious we docked half way and ate by the lodge. It was all you could eat hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad and cookies!

Saying our goodbyes to everyone after church on sunday!! It was a bitter sweet time... we are all moving farther and farther away from each other as we are finishing school! But this is a great tradition we have started to meet up every year!! This is the second time we have all come to Moab and both trips have been a successful adventure and memories were made to last a life time!!!!

Pie & Cards!! Were living the LIfe!

So we were sitting at home on the couch side by side on our computers and I thought we should call Nana and do something tonight instead of just doing this. Even though I never get bored with John by my side!! Well any how I called Nana and asked her if she wanted to come over and play cards so I could finally teach John how to play hand and foot because I have wanted to for a long time and she was so thrilled! We picked her up and she took us out for dinner at Marie Callenders it was so delicious!! And of course you cant go there and not eat pie!! So we all three got a different flavor and they were all so good!! After dinner we went to borders books because the entire store is on clearance because they are going out of business... John and I are so sad we love that store!! We can't drive or walk past it without going in... We both love to read and I love their childrens book section and John could spend hours in their young adult section i dont know what we are going to do. Well we bought some books and then we went back to the apartment and had the funnest (even though that's not a real word) night ever!!! We were laughing and smiling all night!! Even I was and I lost by like 4,000 points. Nana won the game! We had so much fun playing cards with her! She was telling us stories about how her and my papa used to stay up all night playing card games. She even gave us 4 decks of her old cards to keep. The same cards her and my papa played with there from some of the old casinos around here. There really old cards but I am so glad to have them!! Every time we play with them I will always be able to remember all the laughs I've had playing cards with my Nana!!!

Sleep Over! We are the coolest Aunt and Uncle!

John and his flip flops he had major issues ha ha he couldn't keep them on his feet. Me, Ben, and Sevi were laughing at him. It was the first time I had ever seen him wear them and the only time he says! I asked him why he bought them and he says he didn't know... the only reason he wore them down to the pool was because he had unpacked them out of a box that day!

So Ben and Sevi came and had a sleep over before they move to Nebraska... we are so sad they are moving but it's what's best for their family. It was fun to have them for the weekend! I told john i just got my nieces and nephews and now there taking half of them away from me =( i love being an Aunt though it is so much fun!

John was so excited to give me my presents he woke me up because i fell asleep on the couch and let me open them at midnight!

A Rainy Sunday!

I love Sundays but I love them even more when it rains!!! We were sitting at home playing boggle when John heard it start raining so i ran out side so I could feel it!! It never rains in Henderson so i was super excited and it down poored! Plus it was thundering and lightning like crazy it was so beautiful! We sat in our camping chairs on our porch and watched the lighting storm and played scategories it was a wonderful Sunday afternoon!!

So i was being so sneaky planning everything to go up to Provo and surprise Megan on her Big 18th birthday and dad almost ruined it three times and then he kept trying to cover it up he felt so bad. Mom did a really good job at trying to cover it up too so the plan still went on and we went to pick her up from class and i was hiding in the back seat and i jumped out and yelled surprise but she says she knew i was coming.... Well that's alright because we had a great time! It was fun sleeping over in her apartment but i did miss my husband so i had to borrow Megan's computer to get on skype. Mom took us out to dinner at Mimi's isn't this a great picture of her! I have such and amazing and beautiful mom!! We had a great girls night and day celebrating Scooby B-day!!!! Romantic Get Away Sort of

This is what happens when all day long you plan on going to ride the big shot on top of the stratosphere before you find out how much money it is. We get all the way there and then realize that we do not have that kind of money to spend. So we left just planning to go home until john saw the Ferris Wheel at some carnival at the end of the strip. He hurried and turned around and bought us two tickets so we could still have our planned date night!

It was so cute and so romantic!! Best Ferris Wheel ride i have ever been on!! Seeing all the lights from the city was really cool too!

Prom Night!!!!.... well for my sister!

Megan called and ask me if i would do her hair for prom! It turned out great and she looked so gorgeous!! I have beautiful sisters!!! It was fun to see her date pick her up as well!

John came with me too and we spent the whole day in logandale... well in the pool with the kids!! we had fun swimming and playing with them! Me and Ash being goofy and you can see Megans date behind us kind of too!

He got his Wisdom teeth removed at the dentist without going under... he was so brave man when I heard the sound of the tooth breaking from the root it was disgusting.... They used all these big gadgets in his mouth it looked so crazy and he just laid there and held my hand!

He was happy to get home and have a couple days off of work with an excuse to lounge around and play some video games. Boys will be boys! That's about as puffy as his checks got too, not bad at all! That's johns invention! He used my blanket to hold the ice in place so his hands were free and didn't have to get cold!

Goodbye First home a.k.a Trailer!!!

I can't believe I never took pictures of the inside!! I should of I need proof that we lived in the trailer for the first two months after we got married!! It was fun, but a very small space... and I can't forget all the freezing cold nights because the heater ran out and we had to get more propane... we even borrowed space heaters from john's mom and dad. Oh and I won't ever forget having to rap up in a blanket to run inside and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night at grandma J's... stupid bladder!!! haha! Let's just say I'm so excited the semester is over and we are moving to Las Vegas! Living in Marc's house for a couple months while we wait for the house will be heavenly!

When he got off he came home and surprised me with these beautiful flowers! He said, "I know these are your favorite!" Awww what a sweet husband I love him so stinking much!

There so beautiful sitting on the trailer steps... I couldn't take a picture inside because the house(trailer) was messy! The one thing I love about the trailer though is the nights we would climb up on top and look at the stars!

First visit to Town Square

We watched Drew, Ben, and Lia all weekend so there parents could go out of town. It was an adventure let me tell you... haha really good practice for us!! But I don't think we are quite ready to be parents yet. Well anyways we were planning on going to see a movie and Dennis told us you have to go to the theater in town square it's the best one in town. I didn't even know town square existed.... It was so cool and the theater was ginormous!!! The biggest and nicest theater I had ever been in and they had reserve seating! We saw the new pirate movie and had a great time seeing all the stores down in town square!

This is the kite John got from the Easter bunny in his basket! We couldn't keep it in the air that long, but it was fun while it lasted!

Isn't it so springy and fun! i was more excited to go to the park and fly it then he was!! I kept begging him to take me to the park so we could fly it! I mean it only takes us two minutes to walk to the park from the trailer! I remember all the times me and the cousins would walk to the park and spend hours playing there!! Oh good times me, Brittan, Megan, Lindsay, Rachel, Jason, Michael and Nathan. Climbing up the outside of the slides and playing lava and tag! I miss the old park playground =(

The Easter Bunny got me the best present ever!! A FLASH for my camera!!! It was such a big surprise I absolutely love it! This is the very first picture I took using it! It was late that night we got home from my parents and I took a picture of John in the trailer when it was dark! He said, "Man that's bright!" So then I had to take one of myself too and it was bright... haha look at my eyeballs!! They look huge... I wasn't expecting it to work that good!

I love getting to see my nieces and nephews on Sundays when we have family dinner! This week we decorated cup cakes using jelly beans to look like Easter Eggs and green and brown frosting for grass and dirt. The kids had a lot of fun doing it!

Sevi planned her entire party around me and john being able to come. She had to make sure we would be off work!!! It was the cutest thing and a super fun party!! I'm not a little kid but I love playing at jumping Jacks! This is Asher sliding and being a stud!

Our Honeymoon!!

This is the hotel room we stayed in when we were in Monterey. We were so excited to see it after driving in the car for 12 hours. We got stuck in traffic when we drove to California so it took a really long time to get there. The room was really nice though! Uncle Michael helped us get all the rooms we really appreciated it!

John took me to the aquarium he was so excited to take me their because he had so many memories of his own their. He used to go to Monterey with his family all the time. I had never been there before it was so beautiful in Monterey even though it was all cloudy and rainy the whole time. I love the rain and the beach so I was perfectly happy! And on cloud 9 so none of it really mattered anyways! The aquarium was super fun! I'm touching a star fish in this picture I was really nervous to touch a lot of them but John made me haha

I thought these fish were so cool and there were so many of them! they just kept swimming in circles!

We had to take a picture with the penguins they are John's favorite animal! I even took a picture in the penguin egg shell!!!

I absolutely love this picture it is one of my all time favorites!!! We look so cute and in love and the beach looks so pretty!!!! After the aquarium we went and bought a pizza and ate lunch on the beach! I collected seashells and we took off our tennis shoes and walked down the beach barefoot!

I love all the colors and there was a Nemo and a Dori fish in this tank somewhere too!!

John with his penguin look at his smile he really was so excited to see the penguins! Me with a pirate! I had to take the picture since I am a pirate!

So after Monterey we drove the five hours maybe a little more then that down to LA where we saw wicked! I have seen it before but I was so excited to see it again!!! It is one of my all time favorite musicals! I love musicals and John is starting to like them more he knows I love them so he is a good sport! The night after the play was over and we were on our way to the hotel the exit we had to take off the freeway was really dark. The lights were out or something and all you could see were the blue lights from the airport... well John got distracted by them and almost drove off the road my heart was pounding I yelled John and he quickly turned! It was a sharp turn and really dark! We survived!!... but I had to throw that story in! My parents got us the tickets it was so nice of them! We also went to Knotts Berry Farm one day! John had never been there before so that was fun! He made me ride lots of roller coasters and I screamed really loud!

This roller coaster was one of my favorites! It's the kind were your feet hang down underneath the track! It was really fun not to scary like some of the other ones we went on.

We went on the one that shoots you up in the air and back down also!! Oh man did I scream but I love the adrenalin rush i get when its all over!

After the long day at the park we were planning on going to the movies, but we were to tired to go to a late showing after dinner. We ate at macaroni grill it was delicious!! Well all the earlier movies had already started so instead we just bought popcorn from the movie theater and had a movie night in! We watched tangled at the hotel which is one of my favorites and it was awesome because it's not even out on DVD yet!

Our last day of vacation before we had to get back to our real lives!! We had breakfast at ihop before we hit the road!

Driving in the car back to St. George. We had a super duper fun time on our honeymoon but, we were ready to get back home! Well to the trailer =) we were tired of being in the car haha!! As you can tell from the picture! we look awesome JK!

The Reception

I had such a fun time at the reception! And so did all my friends! I love these silly, beautiful girls to pieces!! The reception turned out wonderful! All my parents hard work and efforts paid off. The lights, the backdrop, the tables, music and the food! Sister Zobrist did a lovely job on the food table display and all my cute sayings!! Thanks to the handy work of James, Cal, and my dad the floating pictures looked wonderful!!

My handsome husband and his wonderful dad! I love him so much and his family especially all my adorable nieces and nephews!! I love being Aunt Alicia!! Kristy and Ryan were so helpful! Ryan filmed the reception and outside the temple and Kristy helped with my garter!! Brian caught the garter! We cut the cake and John gave me the cake nicely and I pushed it in his face a little! We danced to our song Then and at the end he dipped me!! I love it when he dips me I feel so safe and loved in his arms!

03.12.11 My Dream Come True

It really was a dream come true! The night before the "Big Day" okay the entire week before the big day was the one and only time I stressed out of all the wedding planning.... good thing my mom is the best, extra forgiving, and loves me more then anything!! She did amazing! Everything turned out perfect from the flowers, to all the bridal party dresses and ties, my dress being, the reception, the food, my cake... I mean everything! The day before I was freaking out a little bit that it wouldn't turn out and I was stressing out because I was sick. Stuffy nose and plugged ears. There is nothing I hate more then plugged ears. All day long I was grumpy and stressed. Finally, we were at Wendy Mulcock sometime that afternoon and my mom and Wendy were working on food, I don't remember what I said to my mom, but it wasn't very nice so Taylor said Alicia come with me we are leaving, going to the drug store and Tiffany's to get lunch for everyone at the church. She sat me down in the car and said, "Alicia, cool it.... you are not being you nice and your mother is doing everything for you." She put me in my place, thank goodness for best friends. We went to the church where James, Megan, Darin Leon and my dad were working overtime on hanging lights and when we got their for lunch it look amazing already. After setting everything up that night we went to St. George to enjoy dinner with the bridal party at Pizza Factory. I was so happy to see John!! I hadn't seen him for a couple days and after I saw him all my anxiousness and nerves went away! I got so excited for the next morning!! I didn't want to leave him again, but I knew I had to go get a good nights rest. From being a maid of honor, and a bridesmaid I knew their was no reason to panic the night before. Instead a good night of sleep was what I needed so the only one I let stay in my old room, which turned into Megan's room was me and my sister. We have been through everything together and this is how I wanted it to be. I have no clue what all the other people at my house did that night because I took my sister and went to bed. We talked for about ten minutes she told me that she loved me and she knew it would never be the same, but she knew John made me happy and she would be waiting for me outside the temple in the morning. I remember right before we went to sleep she said, "It's so weird tomorrow you are going to be a married women... you're going to leave the house and the next time I see you, you will be married!" The next morning we woke up before the sun did! Jenn did my hair! She is so talented, and I am so greatful for the friendship I have with her! She not only did my hair and helped my bridesmaids, but she helped watch all my younger siblings that day to make it easier on my mom. I told her when she did my hair, "I don't care how you do it. I know I want it up and full, but whatever you do no one else hair can look like mine or look better then mine!!" She told me, " I promise I won't let that happen even if I have to make theirs look bad!" She was joking, but that is one great friend! I guess I was worried that someone else would look prettier then me, but the time she was done I felt like a princess, a true daughter of a king! I had never felt so beautiful! I rode to the temple with my parents, Maryanne, Chelsi, and Barry since they were all going to the sealing session with me. The car ride was fun! We had some good laughs and first time experiences ;) if you know what I mean? When we got out of the car and arrived at the temple I text John and told him we were there. While my dad opened the trunk and got all of our temple bags out Barry looked at me and said, "John is one lucky guy... you look beautiful, he fell in LOVE with your gorgeous eyes and he is never going to be able to take his eyes off you." Barry is a great friend I am honored to know and I'm so glad he got to be in the temple with me that day since none of my other Cedar City friends were able too! I met the love of my life outside the doors of the temple. He took my hand and we walked in together. The bridal room inside the temple was beautiful! Everything about the sealing was perfect! My mom helped me put on my dress so we could exit out the doors together where everyone would be waiting.

I love these pictures of the kids waiting outside and the girls in their beautiful dresses! I loved my colors they turned out just as I imagined they would!! I didn't even get to see my Bouquet until 2 seconds before we were going to walk outside the exit doors. My jaw dropped when I saw it!! It was unbelievable, breathtaking, and gorgeous! I had found a picture I like online. It was a general idea of what I wanted, but not the colors I wanted and it didn't have a Gerber daisy in it. So, I had no idea how it was going to turn out! Linda Dimick did an incredible job though!! It made the day even more perfect then it already was! She did a great job on all the corsages and boutonniere too!

I'm so glad we had an amazing photographer, Korindi Totten, to capture every moment of that day! There are so many pictures I have now that our priceless. I look at them and see the smile on my face and how happy we were on that day and are now and I don't think my cheeks have ever hurt so bad, but I couldn't stop smiling even if I tried!!

We had so many people waiting for us outside the temple! I am so grateful for all of their love and support! Just being there made that day so much more special! I love the picture of everyone on the stairs! The entire time we were taking pictures my veil kept falling off... it wouldn't stay in my hair for some reason and Jenn kept shoving it back in my head and I kept saying owwww.... eventually we just gave up. It was just for looks anyways. I actually borrowed my sister in-law Shelleys! It was so pretty we just couldn't get it to stay the way she did my hair. Sabrina followed me around the entire day! She was my little shadow, she carried the bottom of my dress everywhere I went! Sometimes I would catch Sevi sneaking up along her side helping as well! I love my little sisters with all my heart! There sweet spirits always lift me up and I'm so glad they were all there for me with a smile on their face! We took a lot of pictures and they wore the dresses I wanted them too even though a couple of them didn't want too!

Chelsi told me the night before my wedding that she was pregnant!!! We were at the church for the last time that night putting together the finishing touches and she pulled me over into the corner and said, "I know you are getting married tommorow and I want all of the spot light to be on you, but I have to tell you.... I'm prenant!!" I screamed so loud I was so excited!!!! Ahhhhhh I was so happy for her! Of course everyone else heard me scream and assumed! She is such a great friend! She took care of all the music the night of the reception!

Our bridal party consisted of my parents, John parents, Megan (Maid of Honor), Brian (Best Man), Brittan, Taylor Cox, Chelsi Stratton, and Sydney Gordin (Bridesmaids), Brandon, Mark, Ryan, and Conner Fowles (Groomsman)

Our First Valentines!

We went on and adventure down to Las Vegas for the first time since we decided we decided we are going to be moving there once we get married and after the semester is over. We went and looked at UNLV campus and went out to dinner! We went to Red Lobster it was delicious one of our favorites. John freaked me out before we left because he was almost an hour late picking me up and i kept calling him and calling him and he wouldn't answer his phone. I even called his dad trying to figure out where he was or what he was doing and his dad wasn't home but he was headed home to find out when john finally called me back. I was really upset with him because he scared me half to death i thought he got in an accident or something but then he gave me my valentine and some flowers and i couln't help but smile!!! Oh how i love him!!!

So close yet so far away..... it is my dream to make it to Paris someday!!! Ever since i was a little girl i have wanted to see the real Eiffle Tower!!! John did pretty good at making it happen on valentines day the one in Vegas is pretty close haha he promised me we will make it to the real one someday!
